G R E A T . B A Y by briative G R E A T . B A Y by briative
Not the best scan, but ehh.

Third installment in the Majora's Mask watercolor series. Great Bay.

For those who aren't familiar with it, I'll explain...

Great Bay represents depression in the five stages of grief. The whole atmosphere is very gloomy. Link finds Mikau, a Zora, dying on the beach. After he passes away, Link is able to assume Mikau's Zora form. He meets Lulu, Mikau's girlfriend, and learns that Gerudo pirates have stolen her eggs and she has lost her voice (which is detrimental, as she is a singer).

ANYWAY I just painted Mikau/Zora Link with one of the eggs he has to find. Went for a sentimental feel, ehhh

ON TO THE NEXT ONE

Ooh, a sequel to W.O.O.D.F.A.L.L.! Very nice drawing, and I like the way you drew Mikau

what did you use? the shading is amazing. Again the emotions in the picture are very well captured.

Watercolor and watercolor pencils. The watercolor pencils are good for getting the really dark shadows because you can concentrate the color much easier than with the watercolor paint alone. Thank you :3

This is some excellent work. You did a great job capturing the feel of the Great Bay section of the game.
